By purchasing or commissioning services from SG Designs, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. General Information

SG Designs provides custom design services for books, branding, promotional materials, and related digital artwork. All projects are handled professionally and based on the information provided by the client.

These terms are meant to protect both the client and SG Designs and to make sure expectations are clear before work begins.

2. Project Scheduling

Projects are scheduled only after the required deposit has been received and all necessary project information has been provided.

Delivery dates are estimates and may change depending on:

• Project complexity

• Revision requests

• Client response time

• Current workload or queue

Clients are expected to respond within a reasonable time during the project. Long delays in communication may affect the delivery schedule.

SG Designs reserves the right to reschedule projects if unexpected issues, emergencies, or personal circumstances occur. Clients will be informed as soon as possible if this happens.

Rush projects or priority scheduling may include additional fees.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate project details before work begins.

This includes:

• Title and subtitle (if present)

• Author name

• Blurb or text content

• References or inspirations

• Images or materials needed for the project (if provided)

• Correct spelling and information

Clients are also responsible for carefully reviewing all proofs and preview files before final approval.

SG Designs is not responsible for errors that were approved by the client before final delivery.

4. Revisions

Projects include only minor revisions unless the revision is needed because of an error made by SG Designs.

Minor revisions may include:

• Text corrections

• Small color adjustments

• Minor repositioning of elements

• Small typography changes

Major revisions are not included and may require additional payment. Examples include:

• Full redesign requests

• Changing the entire concept

• Large layout changes

• Replacing major elements after approval

Additional revisions beyond the included amount may also result in extra charges.

5. Copyright Ownership

All designs created by SG Designs remain the intellectual property of SG Designs until full payment has been completed.

The client receives the right to use the final approved design for its intended commercial purpose after full payment.

Clients may not:

• Claim the design as their own work

• Resell the design itself

• Redistribute editable files

• Remove watermarks from unpaid previews

• Modify the design without permission

Editable or source files are not included unless agreed upon separately.

SG Designs reserves the right to display completed works in portfolios, websites, social media, advertisements, and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Publishing Rights

Once full payment has been received, clients may use the final approved design for:

• Printed books

• eBooks

• Advertising

• Marketing materials

• Social media promotion

• Commercial publishing

The client is responsible for making sure they have the legal right to use any materials they provide, including photos, logos, fonts, or other content if provided.

SG Designs is not responsible for copyright issues involving materials supplied by the client.

7. Attribution

The Designer requires cover design credit to appear in the Client’s book, either on the back cover, copyright page, or another suitable location.

If the client prefers not to include design credit, this must be discussed and agreed upon before final delivery.

8. Editing & Modifications

Clients may resize the final design for printing, online stores, websites, or social media.

However, clients may not:

• Heavily edit the artwork

• Redraw or alter the design

• Change typography or composition

• Add new design elements

Any major modification requires permission from SG Designs.

9. Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 30%–50% is required before work begins for custom projects or payment plans.

The remaining balance must be paid before final high-resolution files are delivered.

Accepted payment methods will be discussed before the project starts.

Failure to complete payment may result in:

• Cancellation of the project

• Delayed delivery

• Removal of project files from storage

SG Designs reserves the right to refuse or cancel projects for non-payment, inappropriate behavior, or violation of these terms.

10. Refund Policy

Because all projects are custom digital services, refunds are generally not available once work has started.

Deposits are non-refundable because they secure scheduling and cover time already spent on the project.

Refunds will not be given for:

• Change of mind

• Delayed responses from the client

• Dislike of concepts after approval

• Failure to read the terms

If SG Designs is unable to complete the project for personal or unexpected reasons, a partial or full refund may be considered depending on the stage of work completed.

11. AI-Free Policy

SG Designs is committed to creating original work using human-made design processes and manually created resources.

All designs, layouts, typography choices, photo manipulations, and creative decisions are personally made by the designer without the use of AI-generated artwork, AI-generated cover concepts, or AI-generated design assets unless specifically requested and agreed upon by the client beforehand.

Stock images, textures, fonts, and other licensed resources may be used when necessary, but these are selected and edited manually as part of the design process.

If a client specifically requests the use of AI-generated elements, this must be clearly discussed before the project begins. Additional terms or limitations may apply depending on the request.

SG Designs values originality, creative integrity, and professional craftsmanship in every project.

12. Final Delivery

Final files will be delivered digitally after:

• The project has been approved

• Full payment has been completed

• Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their files after delivery.

SG Designs is not responsible for lost files after a reasonable storage period.

13. Communication & Conduct

Professional and respectful communication is expected from both parties throughout the project.

SG Designs reserves the right to decline or cancel projects involving:

• Harassment

• Disrespectful behavior

• Excessive demands outside the agreed scope

• Violation of these terms

14. Agreement

By commissioning or purchasing services from SG Designs, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
